Baines Bid Imminent

Baines Bid Imminent

Already there have been various articles mentioning that the Everton full back, Leighton Baines is a Manchester United target.

Today, the inference ups a level with it being suggested that a bid for Baines will be forthcoming, from United, once the Euro 2012 Finals are completed.

Baines is away with the England squad and although he is still under contract at Goodison Pak, the inference is given that David Moyes, as long as the price is right, will let Baines leave so he can sample Champions League football.

We`ll keep you posted.

Baines is a player I wouldn't mind seeing at the club but I just don't understand why we would pay 20 mil for a 27 year old lb when we can buy a younger player with the potential to be better than Baines and can provide plenty more years of service to the club for less. Doesn't seem like Fergie to buy a player who's already the real deal.
