A Flying Visit

A Flying Visit

Our new signing, from Borussia Dortmund, Shinji Kagawa, made a flying visit to England yesterday.

The Japanese international flew into Manchester Airport and was driven to the private Bridgewater Hospital, to undergo a medical, before making quick visits to Old Trafford and the Carrington training complex, before ending up back at Manchester airport to fly to Paris.

Speaking about the exciting acquisition of Kagawa, Sir Alex Ferguson told reporters keen to listen,

"Shinji is an exciting young midfielder with great skill, vision and an eye for goal."

"I am delighted he has chosen to come to United. I believe he will make an impact upon the team very quickly as he is suited to United`s style of play."

"We are all looking forward to working with him."

His arrival should certainly add an extra dimension to our play.

Really looking forward to seeing him play and he does give us an option down the centre in Rooney's position that even Rooney doesn't offer.
