Earlier this week the inference was that Manchester united could be looking at bringing the FC Porto winger James Rodriguez to Old Trafford.

With Nani`s contract talks stalling, the twenty year-old was seen as the ideal replacement for the Portuguese winger.

But, today, flicking through the various pages of gossip, it looks as if a deal might not be in the offering.

I`ve read that the situation between Rodriguez and FC Porto is complex which has me begging the question, just what has that young lad been up to?

Any suggestions would be most welcome!

It won't happen. Porto are stubborn when it comes to transfer dealings and won't settle for anything less than that 40 mil asking price, a price we wont pay. I also expect Nani to buckle in his demands as he knows outside PSG, Malaga and Anzhi no one else will pay him how much we are offering, if not let him go and get a more reasonable priced potential wonderkid. I heard Munian has a 21 mil buy-out clause (can't remember where), seems far more reasonable and also is a potential wonderkid like Rodriguez.
