Strachan wanted Barca, not us!

Strachan wanted Barca, not us!

One of the more pointless stories that'll ever come from Vital Manchester United but ho hum, it's a slow news day.

Celtic boss Gordon Strachan has admitted today that when it came to the Champions League draw he would rather have faced Barcelona claiming he was 'sick of the sight' of the Red Devils.

Celtic, along with Benfica and FC Copenhagen are United's Group F opponents in the Champions League group stages.

Strachan said: "I'd rather have had Real Madrid or Barcelona because I've never encountered them before as a manager.

'To be honest, I'm fed up with the sight of Man United," he added. "We've met them twice in the last four months and I'd say they're the outstanding favourites for the second phase, while FC Copenhagen, Benfica and ourselves battle it out for second place.'

Fair enough Gordon, I guarantee you'll be playing up the tie leading up to the first game at Old Trafford.

Looks like we've found the new Rodney Marsh, Sky sports will be on to sexyyid later for some more fantastic anlysis. Celtic have produced some great results against english clubs so id be a bit more cautious, albeit on paper Utd are stronger than Celtic, but then again on paper we were a lot stronger than Benfica last year.

My match prediction, Celtic 1-0 home, away 1-1. It's going to be very difficult for MU. There's Benfica as well.

Your an asshole carrickisours, lets hope our players dont have the same stupid opinion as yours or we are *****ed, celtic park is one of the toughest places to play and have you got alzheimers or do you just prefer to blank out last seasons dismal european campaign against noneother than benfica and the mighty villareal, *****ing idiot any team on their day can beat utd especially if silvestre's playing.

carrickisours you're a bit ****sure of yourself. You are a much better side than us but at Parkhead we'll take all 3 points. I hope your lot take your attitude going into these games but i can't see it somehow.
