Icelandic Treat

Icelandic Treat

Last season Brendan Rodgers, whilst at Swansea, unearthed a gem in the shape of the Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The twenty-two year old, signed on loan from Hoffenheim, attracted the attention of numerous managers with his silky skills and fine finishing.

With Brendan Rodgers having moved to Liverpool, it was expected that Sigurdsson would follow. But, several sources are suggesting that Sir Alex Ferguson is set to declare his interest in bringing the Icelandic international to Old Trafford.

This could be one to look out for!

Could potentially be a fantastic squad player however his heart seems pretty set on working with Brendan Rodgers and only Brendan Rodgers. In other news we'vee been linked with an unlikely move for Ganso, which is never going to happen. Something I wouldn't mind seeing though is M'Vila for a supposed 17 mil.
