Rivals for Modric

Although Spurs are reticent to sell Luka Modric to us, it appears that there is another club who are keen to lure the Croatian away from White Hart Lane.

Big spending Paris St Germain (PSG), managed by Carlo Ancelotti, are rumoured to be ready to offer Spurs £30 million in a straight cash deal, which exceeds our reported £22 million (plus extras).

Although the offer is bigger, one saving grace is that the gossip columns suggest that Modric would, if given the chance to leave White Hart Lane, prepare a move to Old Trafford!

thing is we wont accept your paltry £22m offer, so who cares what modric wants. If PSG up there offer a bit I'd accept it. Then he has a straight choice, PSG or Spurs. The price to anybody in england is £40m. Like it or lump it.

Do you actually get any Utd followers on here? Or do you simply enjoy getting abused by Vital Spurs?

why don't Man Utd go for Muller?? he would cost £25 million or do you think Fergie would go back for Snejider???

You guys can't honestly believe in your wildest dreams that you'd get Modric for £22m + add-ons? He was the subject of a reported £40m offer from Chelski just before last season got underway and you can bet your life, as he's on a long contract, Daniel Levy won't let him go to a Prem L rival for less than £40m
Schotty
Spurs won't sell to another prem league club for less than £40m if any united fan thinks other wise you need to severely beat your head in a fridge door!!!!! This is unites underhand tactic to unsettle a player who has previously stated he wanted to leave. United can come back with a deal in the region of £40m+ and then you'll still be some way off, he has 4 years on his contract and we won't be bitten twice (Berba) so red nose can go JOG on my son!!!!!!!!!

Let PSG have him I say. Don't want to be taken for mugs again by Tottenham no do I want a 35-40 mil player who prefers Chelsea at the club. Modric can go feck himself to be honest, his performances have been poor during the 2nd half of the season and as such doesn't worry the ridiculous price tag on him. Theres other players out there who can do the same job but much cheaper.

Very fair comment Famous. Have to agree with you on all counts there.

Keep Modric, we have already given you lot enough of our dough for overrated useless cretins like Carrick and Berbatov.
Kanchelskis
Who have been vital core components to securing Manchester United Premier League titles. Modric would be another improvement to your current squad, only problem is your financial position won't warrant a buy. Spurs valuation of the player is mainly down to the need to keep him at the club rather than his actual worth as a player but none-the-less, i can't see an English club snatching him for anything less than 40.
