'If It's Football, It's Vital'

How Dare They?

Having announced that the signing of the Japanese midfielder, Shinji Kagawa, is a done deal, the gossip has already started.

Seemingly, United have only signed the Borussia Dortmund playmaker to boost shirt sales in the Far East, an area whereby it was recently announced that there has been a huge increase in the United fan-base.

It is, of course, all total bollox as anyone who has seen the lad in action will testify.

Dampening down such scurrilous rumours United`s Commercial Director, Richard Arnold, has remarked,

"We don`t sign players to sell shirts. We are reliant on all 25 players and they are all massive stars."

"When you look at the success we`ve seen in that part of the world, it isn`t down to one player or person."

Exactly!

Let people believe what they want, Kagawa will do a Park and let his football do the talking and starting punishing opposition who believe he's only here to sell shirts. Anyone who knows anything about football will know the threat Kagawa carries.

Red Boy, where's the comment from Mr. Arnold about U*d having 25 George Clooneys? That man is a prize plonker.

I don't believe that you signed kagawa to sell shirts, although that will undoubtedly be a side benefit of having him about the place. What i do find quite puzzling is why your Commercial Director should feel the need to comment on the issue rather than letting it silently disappear. Own goal I reckon!

Listen lets stop the bull*****, the lad is a good player and the fact that he is Japanese and will sell shirts in Japan will no doubt please the gremlins, sorry the Glazers. If we push on from this signing and get another 2 or three good players in, no more of this potential crap either, then we could challenge for the title and Europe next season.
