'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Another Wide-Man?

Movement between the two Manchester clubs is a rarity.

Last summer Owen Hargreaves made the short trip but that was mainly down to the fact injuries had left him surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.

The indications are, in one news source this morning that an out-of-favour City player could be making the short journey.

Adam Johnson, according to the media, is a little miffed about not being in Roy Hodgson`s 23 for the Euro 2012 Finals and is of the opinion that a lack of recent regular playing time has cost him dearly.

That fact seems sufficient foundation for the news source to offer the inference that United are making discreet enquiries about bringing Johnson to Old Trafford.

If that is the case then we`d imagine that he`d want the guarantee of regular first team football but with Nani, Valencia and Young already vying for the wide slots, competition would certainly be fierce.

Haha! Biggest load of bollox so far. Johnson is a decent player no doubt but he's not any better nor really ever going to push our current wingers. If he's not good enough for citys first team then hes not going to be good enough for ours.

Biggest load of bollox yet you mean. I'm sure the bored hacks will come up with something even more far fetched over the summer!

Hmm what have you got in mind fcb? Fergie to take over the reigns at Man City on a £50 million per year contract, or some ***** like that? :P

come on guys this story has as much chance of succeeding as City have of signing Wayne Rooney, it's a non starter, not that AJ's days are numbered,it is Possible that he is not happy at his 1st teams chances at City, but going to you lot, cant see it myself.... some tired and sozzled old hack causing trouble i think...and would he get any more pitch time than he does now in your team? i doubt it.
