Powell Bid In

Rumours are rife this morning that United are set to see off the challenge of Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea to land the Crewe teenager Nick Powell.

The inference is that Sir Alex Ferguson, who has been following the progress made by the eighteen year old player, is set to offer Crewe Alexandra a fee of 2 million for the player with the enticement of add-ons more than doubling that amount providing Powell fulfills his potential and regularly pulls on a United shirt in the future.

But perhaps the ace that Sir Alex has up his sleeve may convince Crewe that the time is right to sell is that United could be prepared to loan Powell back to Crewe for the whole of next season.

We wait for any official announcement.

Looks like a potential world beater and would be a good signing for the future and who knows if he proves good enough maybe the present. I Pogba goes a potential wonder kid would need to be signed just to appease us fans I reckon. Once again, the deal seems fair bordering a steal if he fulfills his potential.
