Signing Imminent?

Signing Imminent?

Although the UK tabloid press has inferred that we`ve yet to meet the asking price for the Dortmund star, Shinji Kagawa, it might not be true.

Reports are filtering through from the German Kicker Magazine that United have agreed a €15 million deal to bring the Japanese star to Old Trafford.

Once again we`re saying nothing until official confirmation is given by those within the confines of Old Trafford.

A really good signing if it does happen!!!This was the player I was hoping that we tie up as soon as possible and I'm glad that it finally looks to be taking place. At last some creativity in the centre.

Any great team has to have a sound defence no matter how good the attack is and although our central pairing is fine our LB area has to be addressed. Its no good scoring 4 if u concede 4 as well!!!!

If there is one last transfer dealing left in us apart from the ones mentioned above I would hope we ship out Anderson, for me,he has not really been anywhere close to what we would hope for and another creative player in his place would just be fantastic!!!!That would leave us with Kagawa,Cleverley,Powell(loan him for a year) and another AM in place of Anderson!!!!3 for the first team and Powell + Petrucci for the future!!!!

Would love it if he signed. If he can adapt (which his already shown his capable of by adapting to the Bundesliga from the J League which is a massive step up, far greater than the Bundesliga to the Premier league) then he will provide us with that pace, directness, short precise passing, goals and ability to unlock midfield that we've been lacking in the central midfield for so long. His style of play should see him slot in perfectly at the club and whilst being use to playing in more advanced positions for Borussia he is more than capable of playing a deeper CM role which is where I suspect he will be played for us. His short passing, fast, precise, counter-attacking football would mean he can be implemented straight into Fergies reinstalment of the counter attacking football he's looking to reinvigorate back into the side. 3 more first team/squad player signings, namely a couple of fullbacks both on the left and right side and a holding/defence-minded midfielder and a couple of typical hot prospect signings (Powell as Antriksh said) and we should be sorted for the new season. I also believe some players need to be shipped out, Anderson being one, the lad is just too injury prone to even be a squad player and every time it looks like he's making progress he gets hit with an injury and regresses. Berby being an obvious one. Owen we already know is going. Fabio on loan solely because hsi career is stuttering at United as he doesn't stay injury-free long enough to challenge Evra for the LB role and develop via experience through first team game time. If we manage to get him to sign a new contract we should loan out Pogba to get first team experience and develop his game as he needs it but he's not yet good enough to earn it at United over our current options. Kuszczak is leaving on a free also I believe. Macheda needs another loan and if he sinks an d fails to impress this time then sell him on.
