Coach or Minder?

The recent elevation of Gary Neville from Sky Sports Pundit to England coaching appears to have been done with a reason.

Well that`s what it appears like in the tabloid press this morning.

According to several articles being reported, Gary has another role to fulfil, apart form his coaching duties.

It seems that Gary, acknowledged as the sensible one, has been tasked with looking after Wayne Rooney with a view to keeping Wayne occupied and not letting him getting involved in high jinx escapades and repeating such episodes whereby Wayne was spotted urinating in the bushes at a golf course and writing messages on his shoes.

Now Gary might well be perfectly capable of doing such a job but whatever happened to the players relaxing a bit and letting their hair down? Or are we back to a public school fašade?

Personally think it's a load of bollox, I doubt Neville would've accepted to ebing Rooney's babysitter for feck sake.
