Hazard Update

Could we have won the race?

With Eden Hazard`s camp having inferred that the Lille playmaker has agreed terms with three English clubs, the French media are now inferring that Hazard has agreed to move to Old Trafford.

We`ll not jump for joy just yet; we`ll await official confirmation from inside the corridors of power at Old Trafford.

A bit wary of celebrating too soon Red Boy? ;-) would you say you're 8 points ahead in this particular race?

Like I said before, I'll believe it when I see it. There's no concrete evidence supporting these claims in the slightest. Personally can't see a guy who has whored himself out to numerous clubs in an attempt to pick them off against each other so he can achieve his demands, settling for the one which will pay him the least.

Well, if Hazard himself is to be believed, he wants regular game time above all else. Let's face it, we have so much quality in our midfield that he would have to fit into our system, and accept being rotated frequently. The only team he's guaranteed to walk straight into and play constantly is united due to the utterly pathetic state of your midfield.

The thing is fcb he likes to play either LW or as a CF and we have Young, Nani and Rooney all capable of playing in those positions so he's not about to walk in there unless he resigns to playing a deeper cm role. Won't deny you your squad strength in those positions but Chelsea only really have Mata for the LW or CF role the rest are ******.
