A Raid on Montpellier?

Yesterday the tabloid press had us linked with the Polish striker, Robert Lewandowski, today that same tabloid press have u slinked with a different striker.

Today`s flavour of the month with regards to a striker acquisition is Olivier Giroud.

Giroud is tipped to be a star of the forthcoming Euro 2012 Finals and United, if the tabloid paper is correct, are keen to prize the twenty-five year old away from Montpellier, this seasons Ligue 1 winners, before any chance of his price being inflated due to the lad having a half decent European Championship.

Fantastic player if you can get him. I've been wanting Spurs to make a move for him since December... Look at what he offers

I dont think we will get him because, like Lewandowski, we don't need another striker, especially not one who's going to cost in 15-20 mil bracket. He's a very good player though and I would love to see him play in the premier league. I don't think he will be tottenham bound anytime soon unfortunately coopsie mate. Redknapp is a complete banana when it comes to transfers and doesn't know of anyone who is outside of the premier league or hasn't already played in the premier league before whilst Levy is a tight arse. I heard your deal for Vertonghen is in jeopardy because you wont pay what Ajax are demanding, I take it levy is penny pinching?
