Hargreaves Released

Hargreaves Released

Although we may have poked fun at our noisy-neighbours when they gave injury prone Owen Hargreaves a contract, but we too are saddened that he`s been released after just one season.

Thirty-one year old Hargreaves endured a torrid time with injuries during the latter stages of his career with United and although he appeared to have gotten fit and advertised the fact with a series of videos on YouTube he never really featured for City playing just four times, including a mere 13 minutes of Premier League action.

It remains to be seen whether Owen can secure a contract or decides to call it a day, either way it`s a sad end to a career that had promised so much.

Poor sod it's just not happening for him. Best of luck for the future Hargreaves and hopefully you will overcome your injury problems to finaly grace the pitch once more.
