Berbatov Wants to Go!

Although Manchester United have exercised their right to extend the contract of Dimitar Berbatov by a year, it looks odd on that the Bulgarian will be leaving.

It seems that Berbatov isn`t happy with his lack of action last season having, apparently, been promised that he would play on amore regular basis and the striker is quoted as having remarked to a tabloid reporter about his conversations with Sir Alex,

"We talked 10 times, he`s told me there would be a place for me."

"But I stayed on the bench. It`s obvious I must go. I`m looking now."

Here at Vital Manchester United we still reckon that Dimitar will make a return to the Bundesliga!

Aw, dammit. We could have used him, seeing as the guy that wears the Moonchester costume is retiring this summer. Tried that Mickey Owen out, but he managed to tear his hamstring putting the costume on. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Why not use Roque Santa Cruz or Hargreaves fcb?

Fair play Berby wanting to leave and I understand his position. He couldn't get in the team this season against Hernandez and Welbeck who are younger than him he hasn't got much chance next season as they develop more and get better whilst he gets older. Also, if Fergies trying to implement a faster game then Berby really wont have a place in the side however Fergie should've sold him last summer rather than telling him he still has a place at the club when he evidently didn't.
