Evra - It`ll Be Easy!

Evra - It`ll Be Easy!

Goal difference, damn goal difference - it rankles!

Even more so when you recognize the fact that we finished with 9 points more this season, than when we won the title last season.

Patrice Evra reflecting on how things panned out, reckons we`ll skate it next season with the French full back remarking to the tabloid media,

"We have given the title to City - but if we play well from the beginning to end, we will win the title easily."

"We received a lot of criticism this season but we have got nine points better than last season."

"City played their best football and we didn`t always play our best football - but we still finished on the same points."

"So it makes you think that if we play our best football consistently throughout the season then we are going to win the league by many points."

I don`t quite think it will be that simple, do you?

Good points but no it's not that simple. You've got to think of other contributing factors also like the missing Vidic and Feltcher for most of the season which makes a massive difference. However next season we do have to be more consistent. Oh well what's it matter now, ifs buts and maybes don't get us anywhere. Ultimately if you throw away an 8 poin lead you don't deserve to win the league.
