For a minute their I thought we would do it, how cruel. Oh well, there's always next season. City have set the bar this year and it's up to us to respond next year, I'm sure we will strengthen the squad and lash back. We've proved against contrary belief the gap between our squad and ability and City's is merely a few injuries to key players (Fletcher/Vidic), goal difference and 2 extra time goals rather than the grand canyon many would have us believe.

I would have prefered City to have won 3-0 and not teased us in to believing the impossible but we did throw this title away and to lose on goal difference is very hard to accept .But Congrats to City and I pray we return next season much stronger and get our title back

I completely agree with TFN7,its really silly the way our rival fans and the media try to make our situation look like its a catastrophe. The fact is they won the title on goal difference but still they make it look as if they won it by 20 or 30 pts.So all I can say is that its good to be the most HATED team in the country!!!!!!!Glory,Glory Man Utd!!!!!

Well, we won and you lost, but it was close. We deserve it because........we're on top. We scored more, and conceeded fewer goals than you did; we beat you home and away. If you have the money you might come back stronger next season, unfortunately for you so will we. I worry for you, well I don't worry as such because I couldn't give a s*it but this result could have a seriously negative affect on the rag mentality and confidence when it comes to winning the really big games. But it has been a fabulous topsy-turvy season and congratulations to all 20 teams for makng it so. And I include your lot in that.
