In Berlin?

Last night at the German Cup Final, played in Berlin, two very well-known faces were in the capacity crowd.

Sir Alex Ferguson and Mike Phelan saw Dortmund thrash Bayern Munich 5-2 with many pundits certain that the target of their observations was the Japanese midfielder - Shinji Kagawa

The Japanese midfielder had an outstanding match putting his side ahead after only three minutes and supplying a sublime ball for Robert Lewandowski to net one of his three goals.

Well he put in the perfect display for Fergie and Phelan and probably intensified any interest in him from us ten-fold. Kagawa is a great midfielder and with only a year left on his contract and the price of players leaving Germany later as indicators he will be really quite cheap. His got a good work rate, something Fergie always looks for in players and has the ability to play anywhere across the midfield as well as being fast, something Fergie's looking to reintroduce into the United team. He should give us that little bit extra we need in midfield, not quite a playmaker but give us goals and direct bursts that we haven't seen for a while.

I think he's a more liable option than Hazard. Whilst Hazard might be technically better his transfer fee would be a stumbling block, 35 mil is a lot. His attitude isn't reassuring, he's already admitted to wanting to play in Spain one day for Barca or Madrid but feels the Premier League is his next destination suggesting whoever he moves to in the Premier League is simply a stepping stone until he's developed and matured enough. Also, something his been criticised for is his unability to get stuck into a challenge a glaring deficiency in any team is a player who doesn't make an effort defensively.

Kagawa any day of the week!!!!!!!Anything less than 10million and he could be the steal of the next season!!!!I'm saying this purely on his past 2 seasons in BVB!!!!
