And on the International Front
There`s an air of the unexpected when it comes to who might be in Roy Hodgson`s squad for the Euro 2012 Finals.
One player who is hoping to be on Roy`s plane is Phil Jones but whether Phil gets the nod remains to be seen.
Like several at Old Trafford, Phil has had his highlights and lowlights when it comes to displays and his possible inclusion in the 23 man squad to be announced next Wednesday (16th May) may very well depend on whether Roy Hodgson decides to go for a youthful squad or sticks with the more established players.
Nevertheless, Phil does have ambitions of playing in one of the two international tournaments, the Euro Finals and the Olympic Games, with the youngster proclaiming,
"There are two massive competitions coming up at the end of the season."
"Hopefully I can be part of one of them."
Or even two?
