'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Desperation or Hope?

Desperate times equals desperate measures!

That`s why, with the title looking like slipping from our grasp, I`m hanging on to every word Joey Barton has uttered relating to the possibility of Queens Park Rangers pulling off mission impossible in the Etihad Stadium this Sunday.

Speaking about silencing our noisy-neighbours and pulling off a shock, Joey has remarked to the media,

"I can`t wait to go to Manchester City."

"They expect us to turn up and them to probably stuff us and go on to win the league. If that is their attitude they will get a reality check."

Is that how bad it has got?

I`m relying on a far from loveable Scouser to bale us out of the brown stuff and landing that fading 20th title.

Unfortunately, that will most definitely NOT be our attitude. Sorry to disappoint.

Odds are Joey QPR will get stuffed you've just got to hope Bolton get stuffed too. I'm already looking ahead to next season to be honest, I'm pretty certain City won't get complacent like our lot did and go for the emphatic win and lose discipline and throw away a win but will just grind out the game. It hasnt been a bad season at all for the club though, just an invaluable learnig experience.
