'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hands Off - No Deal!

Being injured and on a long rehabilitation programme you`d imagine wouldn`t be considered a pre-requisite for signing a player.

But, the fact that the player in question is one of the best, in his position, in the world, may have potential buyers prepared to ignore the reference fact.

Therefore, with yet more transfer speculation appearing, relating to the future of our club captain - Nemanja Vidic, it`s pleasing that his agent, Silvano Martina , has come out and dismissed, out of hand any suggestions that Vidic is Juventus bound!

In my opinion when Vidic is fit and healthy he's the best CB in the world however, nowadays we dont get to see that too often and when we do see it it doesn't last very long, like Rio he's injury prone. I wouldn't of even flattered Juventus with an acknowledgement a couple of years ago but, seeing as we need reliable 50 games a season CB's if Juventus were to offer silly money for a 30 year old CB at about 30 mil I would consider it and then reinvest.

I reckon you'll sell him. As famous says, he's getting on a bit, he's been out for 9 months injured, and you need the cash.
