Ronaldo Ready For The Boo-Boys

Well this story should hopefully go away after the first trip out of Manchester, but the rumblings from the World Cup 'red card and wink' incident continue.

Cristiano Ronaldo today has admitted that he is fully aware of what to expect from away fans when United visit Charlton on Wednesday night.

There was little coming from the Fulham section at Old Trafford at the weekend, however it's difficult to make a noise when your outnumbered, therefore the winger is no doubt in for a rough ride in London.

Ronaldo told The Sun: 'The away games are going to be more complicated but I'm staying calm...

...I do know the next game will be a lot more complicated as it's the first away one. I'll try to put it out of my mind and do my best'

Team-Mate Jon O`Shea has obviously read my mind, and is expecting Ron to shine, using any barracking he receives from sore-losers, (sorry England fans) as something to encourage him to perform well: 'I think he will thrive on it. I have no fears about him whatsoever.'

What will happen, do you support Ronaldo now, do you still hate him for *what happened?*

The world cup is over. Ronaldo is a great player and the opposition teams will soon grow tired and leave him alone.

Woah Woah Woah mr angry. We've just gotta report the news! It's the players themselves still bringing it up as well. After the first away game it should die down. He's going to get abuse all season, nevermind!

my comments were aimed at lmatthews specifically and all the other knobs who keep going on about how much stick they'll give him at their various crappy grounds, so sorry if you took offence, but these idiots are looking for a scapegoat and wont just except the fact that england were crap at the world cup and are overated in general
