The plan to get away from all the media hype, as best you can, ahead of the crucial Manchester derby with City tonight, looks to have served its purpose.
Whether the players can provide the performance need to silence our noisy-neighbours remains to be seen.
However, reading a tweet, sent by Rio Ferdinand yesterday, I get the impression that many of the players were glad to get back to Manchester after enduring what appears to be an eventful flight on the thirty seat aircraft with Rio`s tweet reading,
"Landed safely in Manchester from Cardiff…bumpy old flight that."
Rather them than me!
