The New Liverpool?

The New Liverpool?

Ssshhh!

Don`t massage their egos!

Sir Alex Ferguson, discussing the 'changing of the guard` has uttered a statement that might just bring a smile to the faces of our noisy-neighbours.

In the build up to Monday`s little tussle and with a reference to those sides United have become accustomed to challenging us for honours namely Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea, has muttered,

"The financial support City have means we will be playing them in a lot of games."

"If we are going to be contesting for league titles it will become as important as the Liverpool game."

Sir Alex, now you`ve let the cat out of the bag!

Think it's 'nited that are turniong into the "New Liverpool", ie you'll be in mid-table like them in the next few seasons.

Fergie overhypes the Liverpool-United games which largely tend to be a drab affair. City-United and Tottenham-Arsenal are easily the most entertaining games in the Premier League and perhaps the world.
