Hazard Interest Confirmed

Our apparent interest in the Lille playmaker, Eden Hazard, is something we`ve touched on before.

It now transpires that Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted that the twenty-one year old is firmly in his sights with Sir Alex admitting he`s watched the player and subsequently remarked on the French radio station RMC,

"I was at the game and watched Hazard as well as other players."

"That`s part of my job, looking at good players."

"Hazard is a very good player and has a lot of qualities. He`s particularly quick over the first 10 yards."

But will the interest actually come to anything? That remains to be seen!

An exciting prospect. He would be a fantastic addition to the team and will probably see us transition into modern football and employ 4-2-3-1 rather than the traditional 4-4-2. He'll provide the quality we need through the middle and be able to unlock those compact, deep defensive lines.

Sorry folks, but I very much doubt you'll see Hazard in a red shirt next season (unless it's Arsenal perhaps). You'll just have to make do with recalling that world class player you signed for 8m last season. What was his name again? Oh yeah, Bebe.
