53 Years!
Lurking amongst the turmoil of throwing away a two goal lead and jeopardizing our Premier League title hopes is an interesting fact.
Apparently, United had, prior to yesterday, gone in excess of 53 years without failing to get a win after scoring four goals in a league match at Old Trafford.
The record books show that the last time we failed to win, at Old Trafford in a league game after scoring four, was against Newcastle back in 1959!
