With one Sunday tabloid declaring that Sir Alex Ferguson may make a summer move for the Everton left-back, Leighton Baines, one other source has Sir Alex showing interest in a different left-back.
It seems that the interest is based on acquiring a replacement for the ageing Patrice Evra and the name put in the frame by this other source is the Valencia defender Jordi Alba with a price tag of £15 million being quoted for the 23 year old!

Another very good LB, not quite as defensively reliable as Baines and his mind is more towards the attacking side rather than where it's most important for his position, the defensive side. Wouldn't mind him but at 15 mil I'd sooner see us not loan out Fabio and give him a go.
