Old Trafford Clear-Out

Rumours are rife that there is going to be a clear-out at Old Trafford this summer.

One tabloid even goes as far as to suggest that the following players will be leading an enforced exodus:-

• Berbatov
• Owen
• Anderson
• Bebe
• Macheda

Whilst reckoning that United are looking to bring two world class operatives in, in the shape of Eden Hazard and Oscar De Marcos giving the rumours some foundation by providing the following quotes form our CEO, David Gill,

"We`re looking at all that."

"The work goes on all year round but obviously intensifies as we come to the end of the season in terms of players."

"There are various contracts we`ve got to do, we`ll look at some acquisitions and there will be some players who will leave. It`s an interesting time."


It certainly looks as though the summer, as usual, will be intriguing.

please take modric off spurs ASAP. Two reasons, firstly it will stop chelsea or city getting him and secondly hes been an absolute disgrace since xmas, he doesnt care, he isnt trying so he's all yours.

Can't see Anderson leaving, he started to look good and live up to his potential just before the injury. Not sure he's ever going to fulfill that potential but even then he makes for a good squad player especially when you consider Giggs and Scholes won't be available for CM selection for long, we don't know when Fletcher is going to be back and Carrick is beginning the end of his career. Can only see Macheda leaving on loan, Fergie seemingly has a lot of faith in him and I can see him ending up being another Rossi if we let him leave. Macheda is still very young and has plenty of time to fulfill his potential. We already know Fabio is being loaned out. Can't see any of the others staying. Interestingly, Park has had a very quite and strangely uninvolved season, definitely one to forget for him.
