Following the defeat at the DW Stadium, last night, Sir Alex Ferguson was in a reflective mood.
Possibly quite grateful that the run of victories prior to his loss had given us some breathing space when he commented to he media,
"We have been on a great run and that has put us in a position where we can win the league."
"We were well behind City a couple of months ago on goal difference and points, so we have to take credit for getting back in the race."
"We`ll improve from this performance, I`m sure of that."
Well we can hardly get any worse can we with a sum total of one shot on target in the ninety minutes!
