Keeper Chase

Always on the look out to equip the next generation United side, the Daily Grapevine has Manchester United linked with a move for a promising young keeper.

Whilst we already appear to be well stocked in that department with David De Gea, Anders Lindegaard and Ben Amos, it still hasn`t stopped the speculation linking us with a move for the promising young Birmingham keeper, Jack Butland

Butland is currently on a second loan spell at Cheltenham Town and has yet to make an appearance for Birmingham, but his reputation appears to be growing by the game.

The nineteen year-old has already played for the England U21 side and is rated at 3 million, it`ll be interesting to see if anything concrete comes form this rumour!

Unless he's a brilliant goalkeeper and can provide stiff competition for the oeepers we've already got there's no point signing him as De Gea, Lindergaard and Amos are more than enough.
