A 13th for Giggs

A 13th for Giggs

Manchester City, much to our delight, have made what appears to be a right ass of the title run-in.

With Mario Balotelli causing something of a minor implosion, our eight point gap looks mightily healthy as the games start to run out.

Therefore, as the great Mr Kipling said, it looks exceedingly like Ryan Giggs will net a record 13th Premier League winners medal.

Speaking about the possible, but not taken for granted yet, achievement, Giggs has remarked,

"It would be huge."

"When you look at the spending power City have and the injuries we`ve had it would be massive."

"Until it`s mathematically impossible for us to be caught, we won`t be counting our chickens - we never do."

But a failure to not retain the title would, in my opinion, be a catastrophe!

Great to hear the players wont let complacency become an issue and will look to get their head down every game until the titles won.
