'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vidic Praises Youth!

Our club captain may be sat on the sidelines, recuperating from a knee injury sustained, in Switzerland, against Basel, but he`s still an active participant in all things United.

As United approach the finishing line to hopefully grab a 20th top-flight title, Nemanja Vidic has praised the youngsters who have gone from boys to men this season, remarking,

"I always believed we`d challenge for the title."

"It doesn`t matter who`s out. Manchester United never depends on one player."

"We didn`t expect the young players to play so much and have such an influence. This is a great plus for the club."

"We`ve coped and been very competitive. Now we are at the top and have a big chance to win it."

Big chance - I`d say excellent chance and it is now for us to throw it away!
