Fergie`s Thoughts - Fulham (h)

Fergie`s Thoughts - Fulham (h)

I got the impression that the result meant more than the performance when Sir Alex Ferguson was interviewed by the media, after our 1-0 win over Fulham.

Although he gave a brief overview regarding the performance, his major concerns were at getting the three points on offer when he remarked,

"Fulham finished the game very strongly and caught us out on the counter-attack."

"We started giving the ball away and it was disappointing not to finish them off."

"But we played well for sixty minutes and it`s a very good win for us."

"Over the years I don`t know how many times I`ve said 1-0 is a great result. It means Championship form."

And with the games fast running out and with a three points lead, that 20th title is looking to be within our grasp!
