Fletcher`s Target

Fletcher`s Target

It`s been strange watching United perform since November 22nd without the inclusion, at one time or another, of Darren Fletcher in midfield.

Darren, sidelined with a chronic bowel condition, continues to harbour hopes of a comeback and is looking towards next season as a target.

Although Darren has been keeping his fitness levels at a reasonable level, by helping out with training the reserves, he still is along way short of where he needs to be.

Talking about the situation, Darren had this to say to the media,

"I`m still not ready to come back playing or training yet but I`m listening to the medical people and trying to get myself fright. The focus is to be ready for next season."

Let`s all hope Darren gets his wish, the lad deserves it.
