'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Defender Talk

Transfer speculation, from a respected source, has Sir Alex Ferguson agreeing to bring a promising defender to Old Trafford.

Nathanial Clyne, who has been mentioned in despatches before, is a free agent this summer and the word on the street is that the twenty year old defender will be leaving Crystal Palace to join United.

Furthermore, we`re also told that United will dispense with a need to go to a tribunal by offering Palace 2.5 million to do the decent thing.

With our only natural RB being an injury prone Rafael the signing of Clyne would be a very good move. He's a talented youngster also but more defensively reliable and less hot headed than Rafael though, in the long term, won't be as good as Rafael.
