Vidic Speaks

Vidic Speaks

The latest news relating to Nemanja Vidic is pleasing.

We`re led to believe that our inspirational centre back and club captain is on course to make his long awaited comeback as planned, for the start of next season.

Obviously frustrated at being side-lined, most players are, Vidic has taken time out to offer a few comments, the first of which relates to the player who has replaced him during his enforced absence, commenting about Jonny Evans,

"Jonny has been playing really well in the last few games."

"It`s good to have stability at the back and is the way to win the title."

Continuing on what has been a popular theme this week, Jonny`s first goal for the club, Nemanja recalls something similar, further remarking,

"I remember my first goal for United. It`s a nice feeling and Jonny has come up from the youth team so it`s his dream."

And, lastly, on his rehabilitation progress, our much-missed defender added,

"It`s going well and I`m on schedule for next season."

Glad to hear it, he`s been missed enormously both for his defending and the extra something he gives us from set-pieces.
