Four points clear of our noisy-neighbours means that the pressure is well and truly on the mob from the Etihad as we hit the final phase of the season.
This Wednesday, all United eyes will be cast towards the Etihad when our noisy-neighbours take on a rejuvenated Chelsea side who have won four on the bounce, in all competitions.
Sir Alex Ferguson, as you`d expect, has wasted no time in increasing the pressure on City with a mind game quote, remarking,
"Chelsea are back to form. It`s a really interesting, big game."
"The key thing was to do our job. Eventually the games will run out."
Indeed they will, as when you`re chasing those games soon diminish.
Returning to the 5-0 win yesterday, Sir Alex had four curt words t sum it up, commenting,
"It was nothing special."
A view shared by many who were a little surprised at how bad Wolves were. But as for Jonny Evans and his first ever United goal,
"He has waited 14 years for that.".
But then again, being churlish, my granny could have netted that one.
Onwards and upwards United, mind the gap City!
