Only £5 million

Only £5 million

The inference, coming from Sir Alex Ferguson, that United could be prepared to part-company with Dimitar Berbatov has seen the first enquiry come in.

Well that`s how the tabloid press are reporting it with one tabloid inferring that a bid of £5 million has been made by Hannover who are keen to take Dimitar back to the Bundesliga.

Although Dimitar has failed to hold down a place in the first eleven, on a regular basis, surely he`s got to be worth more than £5million?

What do you think?

He was worth more than 5 mil last Summer when Anzhi were reportedly interested in him and he was 30 rather than 31 and actually wanted to stay at the club. Now though he wants to leave, he's 31 and unless there's competition amongst loads of interested clubs 5-6 mil sounds about right. We should've got rid in the Summer.

There is only one blue team in England (and that's who I support)! The other blue teams are either fakes or knock-offs.

So, just to clarify, you wouldn't take Berby on a free and would rather stick with that girly looking waste of 50 million who can't find the net? You do realise Berby in his 19 appearances this season alone Berby has scored 9 goals, that's 2 more than Torres' entire 52 game stint at Chelsea? If I was Chelsea at the moment I'd take whatever strikers I could get. Every other club in the world would get Berby at a decent price of 6 mil with Chelsea though and those pair of melons Gourlay and Buck in charge you fellas are more than likely to offer 15+ mil :P

LOL I saw the attack on Torres coming from a mile away so I hesitated in saying that I supported Chelsea for a bit. Anyway, even if Berbatov scores 100 goals in a season, he still wouldn't be good enough to lace El nino's boots. Ha!
