Another brace of goals saw Wayne Rooney hit the 26 goal mark for the season.
How many our striker will finish the season n is up for discussion.
But Sir Alex Ferguson believes that if Wayne can hit the magic 40 mark then it will be good for the team, remarking to the media after the comfortable 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion,
"If Wayne gets to 40 goals I will be absolutely delighted! He is on a hot streak which is what he does."
And as for his goal from open play yesterday, Sir Alex drooled,
"His first goal was fantastic."
"I thought at first he may have been offside because he was so clear. But when you see the timing of the run it was fantastic. It was a really good finish."
It certainly was and if Wayne can be kept fit and given a few chances then 40 might not be a bad target to aim for.
