It`s Game On!

It`s Game On!

Manchester City travelling to play at the Liberty Stadium was, in our opinion, always going to be a tricky tie.

Brendan Rodgers has the Welsh side playing attractive football, especially at home, and there was always a chance that an upset was on the cards.

Sir Alex Ferguson though greeted the news of a City loss with a wide smile, remarking after we`d secured the three points against West Bromwich Albion,

"That was a bonus. I didn`t expect that."

And as for hitting top-spot, Sir Alex continued,

"I`m happy to be there because only a few weeks ago we were seven points behind."

"Now we are one point ahead so we have turned around eight points."

"Credit to the players and the resilience of the squad because everyone knows we have had a lot of injuries."

"At this time of the season, points will be dropped and you have to make sure you just don`t drop as many as your opponents."

Now, courtesy of the two results yesterday, it really is game on!
