If you need further indication that Athletico Bilbao were the dominant side at Old Trafford last night, then we have a statistic for you.

The Spanish side managed a staggering 25 shots last night, I say staggering because that is more than any other team has managed this season, even during that darkest of ninety minutes when our noisy-neighbours put six past us!

We deserved to lose by a lot more, and after that result I can see us going out of the competition - I though City were unlucky last night, and it was a Joe Hart fumble with a cheeky backheel that really made sure City lost - they certainly put up more of a fight than we did, and I thought Barry was very unlucky with that curling shot.

Everything Roo and the others tried to do last night seemed to be going astray - really need to sort out **** out or we will end up this year without any trophys
