Scholes Mystery?

Ahead of our fast approaching Europa League tie with Athletico Bilbao, we`re privy to a bit of news from the training ground.

It appears that Tom Cleverly and Chris Smalling both took par tin the session with the first team squad today.

However, Antonio Valencia is still easing back towards full fitness but being put through his paces in solo sessions.

But the big news of the morning session is that Paul Scholes was a notable absentee form the training ground this morning.

Let`s hope the reasons for this were nothing serious.
