Fergie`s Verdict - Spurs (a)

Fergie`s Verdict - Spurs (a)

With a comfortable 3-1 win recorded, Sir Alex Ferguson was very fair in his evaluation of how things went at White Hart Lane, on Sunday.

Talking to the press afterwards, this is what Sir Alex had to say about a victory that keeps us in touch with our noisy-neighbours at the top of the table,

"We certainly carried a lot of luck. It`s an unbelievable result for us and that was our hardest game of the season. In the first half, we were never at the races."

"Unfair on Tottenham? No question about that, they played very well."

"But in context of the teams who have come here, you can see why it is such a great result for us."

"We`ve got to realize - and I think we do - that to come here and get that result is really first class."

"To be just two points behind Manchester City puts us in a massive, massive position."

Even more so when you consider our last two games have been on the road against what could quite easily be termed as difficult opposition.

"hardest game of the season"? PMSL. He talks such garbage does Slur and what makes it worse is you idiots repeating it. Spurs did outplay you but lacked a cutting edge, two schoolboy errors lead to your goals. Poor show really from what's supposed to be two of the best teams in the country.

I thought Blackburn was your hardest game of the season. Or was that Palace?
