'If It's Football, It's Vital'

International Friendly Cull

I`m probably one of a large group of supporters that get totally cheesed off by the plethora of friendly internationals that tend to take place these days.

Therefore, it is with great delight that I report that a deal has been agreed between the top European clubs and UEFA whereby we will see a reduction in the number of these games.

Hopefully it`ll prevent the nauseating experience whereby the early stages of the season appear to stop-and-start with alarming regularity.

Talking about the news to the media, our Chief Executive David Gill had a few brief words to say, commenting to the media,

"It`s a great agreement."

I couldn`t agree more!

WHAT, this is a disgrace, international friendlies give a chance to young players to gain more experience!
