A Costly Mistake?

Having spent close to £25 million on David de Gea and Anders Lindegaard, Sir Alex Ferguson has come out with a startling revelation.

With Joe Hart, over a tour noisy-neighbours, establishing a reputation as the country`s number one, Sir Alex has admitted that he could have snapped him from Shrewsbury, back in 2006, commenting,

"I could have bought Joe Hart for £100,000 so we all make mistakes."

"I`ve no doubt that Hart will be the England goalkeeper for the next ten years."

"If you look at the England goalkeeper situation for the last 20 years, I think he`s easily the best."

Now I`d like to question something along the lines of what do Scotsman know about keepers but on this occasion Sir Alex is, and I`m speaking through gritted teeth here, right!

For once I have to agree with F*******. Seaman, James - both playing the best footie of their careers at City and now Hart. The best! Who else has there been, um, Foster er, . . .

Missing out on Hart and Cech drove to Fergies punt on De Gea then. No doubt Hart is easily the best keeper England has seen in a while and will easily don the No 1 jersey for England for a long time, especially considering the lack of real competition he has for it. Oh well you can't get them all, you just live and learn.
