'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cleverley`s Back

It was great to see Tom Cleverley finally return from his lengthy injury lay-off last night in Amsterdam.

The talented youngster is a key part of our future plans and his presence, as we approach a title run-in, will be enormously beneficial to the squad.

There`s also the small matter of United never having suffered so much as a draw when Tom is in the side, let alone a defeat. In every game Tom has played, United have won!

Long may it continue and let`s hope he`s an ever present on the title run-in!

We played our best football when he was in the team, he brought the best out of many of his team mates and his interlinking play with Rooney, Young and Welbeck was a joy to watch. Lets hope we get back to that football.
