'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Words of Warning!

It seems that several players, including Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand, have come out in support of Harry Redknapp taking over the England job vacated by Fabio Capello.

The general consensus of opinion is that Harry will get the job with only the matter of on what terms.

Already there is talk of Harry combining, for now, the Spurs and England roles, but that`s something our own Sir Alex Ferguson is very wary about and Sir Alex has offered Harry some advice base don when he managed Aberdeen and Scotland, remarking,

"I had five or six Aberdeen players in the national squad."

"When I took the job in November we were top of the league and we ended up third."

"It did have an impact on my appearances at the training ground."

"We won two cups but I think we would have won the treble."

"But Harry`s the right man. He has the experience, personality and knowledge of the game."

Some sound advice we`d say, not that we envisage Spurs winning any trophies!
