Yesterday Ryan Giggs signed a contract that will see him still pulling on a Manchester united shirt when he`s 40!
That in itself is a remarkable achieved and with Giggs approaching 900 appearances for the club we`d be reluctant to hazard a guess as to how many games he`ll finally play!
Speaking about securing his services for another season, Sir Alex Ferguson has remarked,
"Ryan is a marvellous player."
"He has constantly reinvented himself and has retained that desire and hunger for success."
"He is the example for others to follow."
And as for Giggs himself, the Welshman had this to say,
"I never thought I`d be bale to play at united for 22 years. But I know I can still contribute.
A simply marvellous professional!
