I stressed yesterday that it is essential we don`t rest on our laurels and ruin all the good work that Darron Gibson goal, for Everton, done for us.

We`re level on points as we head off to London to take on a Chelsea side that, to be honest, are a pale imitation of the sides we`ve faced previously. Bu, with City entertaining another West London side, in the shape of Fulham, anything other than a win could see City open up a gap, however small, at the top again.

Therefore it`s great news that for the trip, on Sunday, to Stamford Bridge, some of our injury problems might well have eased.

We`ve heard that of those who missed the midweek win over Stoke City, at Old Trafford, there is a good chance that Tom Cleverley, David de Gea and Wayne Rooney will all be in the starting eleven.

Furthermore, after what has seemed like a lengthy absence, Ashley Young is also likely to feature whilst Nani is back in full training. Things are definitely on the up!
