A Gibson Treat!

A Gibson Treat!

I guess many a smile broke out on United supporter`s faces when news filtered through that Darron Gibson had scored the winner against Manchester City the other night!

Gibson, who only recently just left us, did us a huge favour with that goal condemning City to a rare defeat.

Naturally, his former United comrades have been keen to send him their thanks but none more so than Rio Ferdinand who tweeted soon after,

"Just organizing a free meal for Darron."

Rio, of course means in his restaurant.

But, before we all get a little carried away, we`d like to point out that Darron`s goal will mean nothing if we can`t get a result at Chelsea because I fully expect Manchester City to take the three points on offer against Fulham when they encounter Martin Jol`s side at the Etihad Stadium this weekend!
